The video shows a 1985 Pontiac Firebird passing by in the median, striking a culvert on the ground and then being launched into the air. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has taken part in a wildlife experiment, helping biologists get skin samples from an endangered gray whale. Filipino policeman Rolando Mendoza, who killed eight Hong Kong tourists he had held hostage for a day while demanding his job back, was buried in Batangas on Saturday. Mendoza was killed by a police sniper on Monday in an assault on the bus with hostages following a breakdown in negotiations.
